I wonder what this fall is going to bring. I don’t really look forward to it, I think it’s gonna be a lonely year in some ways. I’ve had a lot to battle, and though I’m gaining strength I still feel somewhat lost. Good thing work might just distract me again soon!

I’ve been keeping up with all my workouts, and find that it has improved my condition some, glad to see that personal experiment paying off . Highly recommended! I’ve also started playing Star Wars Galaxies again, been so long but still feel really welcome with the old people that i knew in there. I wonder if I will be able to play once work picks back up, time will tell. Should be able to  mix the two, but I do  get sucked into work…

I’ve had some really intense weeks after returning home from Belize. So much have needed to be looked after, and I’ve gone through somewhat of a rough period. I am getting rather excited about this summer now, hoping it will just stay peaceful for a while. With plenty of time to relax and de-stress, and plenty of time to work through some of the many events of this spring.

Company wise things are looking promising! Sure, we’re in the dry limbo land known as financing, but it is also a very exciting time where we get to see the contours of what could happen in the future!Personally I hope to have some semblance of an income fall 2010, but I’m not holding my expectations very high. I realize the sacrifices you have to make to run a company are indeed huge. you have to take a lot of crap, endure many weird things, be the last in the line always and yet the one always held accountable and responsible. The payoff will hopefully be a wonderful concept brought to fruition on my conscience.

I hope I’ll get better at taking photos this summer so you all have something to actually look at… Here are just a few more shots: The infamous thigh-burn, our crab visitor, a fresh coconut, and one of the billion cool Geccos on the property.

I choose to leave the school early on for many reasons. Reasons I am sure I will get a chance to tlak to yuo about in person at some point. It has been a weird and difficult time for a while, and I struggled with some of the things they required from us at the school. (Although diving lessons were awesome)

And so I am now looking to find out whether I wish to go home, or hop ot the states and do some sightseein, friendvisiting, and general driving around. Any advice on location would be HIGHLY welcome as I am very unsure of where I want to go right now.

Yes… this place truly is paradise. So beautiful with crystal clear waters and tons of places to explore! Not even the humidity is bothering me, it just feels like your skin is always soft and moist. They say that we are heading out of the dry season here now and entering the rain / storm season, and I can really feel it! We had an amazing thunderstorm the other night, and -very- strong winds for the last few days. It’s quite awesome.

The school however is another case. I think the program will be too intense for me, and I’ve had this weird idea that I needed to go here because it’s “what everyone does”. But now that I’ve even here, and experienced it, it’s like I realize that i don’t actually have to. And that feels really great! Slightly unsure what I will do still, but I believe I will be moving on in another week or so, and continue my journey up north amongst the states. What a great trip this is, and I am learning and seeing so many things. Makes me feel great that I actually have the option of choosing what I want to do. (There are also a few things about the school that I really don’t agree with, so I don’t feel my heart and soul is really in it).

On my way here I lost my backpack, so had to wait a few days for it to arrive in Belize. It’s amazing how well the international luggage tracking system works, I’m very impressed that they got it all the way from Oslo and out here to the Island without me having to touch it! Besides.. who needs luggage, when you got your laptop
Sunday we are gonna go sailing to something called Mexico Rocks, where we get to snorkel on some amazing reefs with lots of sea life. (And today we saw dolphins on the way to town!) The Caribbean truly is beautiful…

For those who are interested in seeing where I’ll be living and learning, check out the photos below. The students live in sort of bungalow style buildings opening up out to the sea. Also added: a shot of the lecture room. It’s stripped of fancy stuff, it’s up close and personal, hands on. I like it!!

It’s closing in on departure for me, som 2.5 weeks left till i leave Norway and set sail (quite litteraly) in the Carribean. For those who like to look it; I will be in Belize, a smal country south of Mexico, packed with islandgroups and the worlds second largest reef. The DP (Destination Paradise) base is located on an island called San Pedro.

I am both dreading and looking forward to this experience. In many ways I don’t think I’ll ever be ready, it’s going to be tough living so close with a bunch of other strong personalities, trying to cooperate, share and grow together. Also, a lot of personal things has happened to, and around, me lately,  increasing the preasure dramatically the closer I get to lecturephase. Apparently this is normal, but boy would I love if it would ease up a little. I have decided to forget about trying to get everything right and ready within me, and just focus on one goal: Getting to DP. Then I’ll take it from there. Right now there isn’t much left in me to go on.

So Lord help me, something i suspect he just might do!
